Transparent Policies for a Seamless Experience
At Barafu Flying Safaris, we believe that transparency is part of luxury. Our booking policy is designed to ensure clarity, confidence, and peace of mind as you prepare for your journey across Africa’s most iconic landscapes.
Reservations
To secure your safari experience, a signed itinerary and deposit are required. We recommend booking at least 60 days in advance to guarantee aircraft and lodge availability. While last-minute bookings may be accommodated, they are subject to availability and may incur premium rates.
Changes & Modifications
We understand that plans can evolve. Itinerary changes are permitted up to 30 days prior to departure, subject to availability. Any modifications requested within 30 days of travel may incur additional fees, depending on aircraft, lodge, or excursion adjustments.
Payments
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before your scheduled departure. Payments can be made via bank transfer or approved credit card, and all pricing is quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.
Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 45 days before departure will receive a full refund, minus administrative fees. Cancellations between 30 and 45 days prior to travel will incur a 50% charge. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 30 days of departure are non-refundable. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.
Documentation & Requirements
Guests are responsible for securing valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations for their destination. Our concierge team is available to assist with guidance and documentation support to ensure a smooth pre-departure process.
Special Requests
We welcome special requests, including dietary preferences, mobility assistance, and celebration arrangements. To ensure proper planning, please communicate these needs at least 14 days before your journey begins. Every detail will be handled with discretion and care.
